On our trip we happened to meat and speak with several different guests around the pool area from all different areas of the country. Many people heard we were getting married, and came by for best wishes.
One couple, through a fairly long conversation spanning lots of different topics, told us about a medication cocktail that a neurologist used to help relieve the psychotic side effects that can develop in her mother during the later stages of Alzheimer’s. It has worked for her mother for eight years, and brought back the sweet mother she remembered (not the over-drugged, comatose mom). We are exploring and researching if this may help my husband’s mom.
The reason I’m sharing this story is to recognize the value of meeting and sharing with others, valuable information about what you’ve had success with in medications, nutrition, and exercise. You never know what insight you have may positively impact someone else’s life (and vice-versa).
