10/8/09 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Thursday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 8. October 2009 20:53

Something about working out just makes me feel good.  Even though I'm bummed that I'm still 119 pounds; physically and mentally I feel much better.  Coming home everyday after school and working out helps me relax and whether or not it's just in my head, my body already has started to feel more toned.  It was pouring down raining tonight but my dogs and I spent a good 35-40 minutes walking and running.  I like feeling dedicated and more in control again.  Now I've just got to make sure I don't get obsessive about exercising again!  For now I'm going to try to do five days a week and take the weekends off.  Keep your fingers crossed that my exercise and stringent diet gets me down to the lower end of where I want to be.

When I was at Jenny Craig Valerie Bertinelli's new book had just come out.  I decided to buy it because she writes about her own journey on maintenance.  I'm hoping she will have some tips that may help and maybe she'll have some feelings I can identify with too.  I'll have to let you know if it's inspiring.
